No.2 LAYER ON THE BEDDING. Once you select the perfect bed, you will want to dress it with the cozy, inviting layers of bedding that suit your style, sleeping preferences, and create the look you want for your personal sanctuary. We have options for any style, from a glam luxury duvet and shams, to an easy and organic linen look. When it comes to bedding, the Gatehouse motto is "layer, layer, layer" We create the ultimate bedding layers by mixing and matching textures, colors and patterns together, making each bed we design unique, full, and draped with comfort. Starting with a mattress cover and sheet set, next add a textured coverlet, quilt or blanket for a base layer, topped by the perfect filled duvet cover. Complete the look with accents including pillows ranging in various sizes and a foot warmer or throw across the foot of your mattress.
No.3 NIGHT STANDS ARE KEY TO FUNCTIONALITY. When it comes to choosing your nightstands, consider the space that you have available, the size & height of your bed and the functionality that suits your lifestyle. Drawers, shelves and minimalistic options are all available so consider your needs that will fit your preferences. Finish of the nightstand selection by pairing a set of bedside lamps, they not only complete the look, but a bedside light is a must have in every bedroom.
No.4 A COZY RUG. Finding a rug to ground your space, introduce another texture for warmth and tie together your color palette. We love a good bedroom rug on both hardwood floors as well as carpeted spaces. Be sure to find a large enough rug to fit completely under your bed, extending out about 2-4 feet on each side and 3-4 feet from the end of your bed so theres plenty of rug to fill the perimeter, with a nice warm walk way all the way around.
No.5 A LUXE LOUNGE. If your space allows, a nice sitting room space within a bedroom is an easy way to add luxury to your room and be able to lounge in style. Is there anything better than being able to relax in your serene space without being in bed? A few of our favorite seating options include a chaise lounge, a pair of chairs flanking a small dining height table that can double for your personal "room service", a stylish modern recliner, an end-of-bed bench or if you have the space even a comfortable sofa with a pair of accent swivel chairs.
